A lot of military air shows are every other year events, but not Rhode Island.  They have a show every year, and the added experience really shows up in the quality of the show they put together.
A photo flight with Michael Mancuso was the highlight of this show for me.
Featuring A-10s from the Massachusetts National Guard and various units from the Rhode Island National Guard, the Combined Arms Demo is one of the most exciting demonstrations in the air show business.
The East Coast A-10 Demo Team put on a great show.
There was also a Marine Corp AV-8 Harrier demo.
A US Navy F-18 demo.
A B-1 demo is always a good time to test out those ear plugs that you brought.
The US Air Force's newest heavy transport, the C-17.
The Shockwave jet truck put on a great show, including a game of chicken with Sean D Tucker.
Speaking of Sean...
Fighter Combat International also performed with a pair of Extra 300s.
Frank Ryder performed in his custom Oreck XL.
Jim Parker performed in his Yak 55. Reese Dill and Hank Moretti perform in their T-6 and SNJ-5 warbirds.
One of my favorite parachute teams, The Red Devils bring in the Union Jack and Stars and Stripes.
A Coast Guard C-130 comes in on arrival day.
The C-5 is always one of the first aircraft to arrive and the last to leave.  It's so big that the rest of the static aircraft are located after the C-5 is in place.
